Prayer Request!

Attention Ladies! Kimberly and her family are in need of our prayers. Please keep her in mind and lift her up to the Lord. Here is her prayer request:

Hi all,
Please keep my Nana in your prayers.  Not only did she lose her last living sibling this past weekend, but she is also having hip replacement surgery on Monday, October 16.  The closer it gets to the surgery the more scared she has become to the point that we are worried she is going to back out.  My family truly appreciates your thoughts and prayers for her peace of mind regarding the surgery and that she has the strength needed for recovery.  I know that she will find comfort in knowing so many people are praying for her.  Thanks.

Help Out Zeta Chapter!

Attention Ladies! As some of you know our Phi Beta Chi Zeta Chapter got into some financial trouble a while back. They have now come up with a fundraiser to try and squash some of that debt! Please read this message from Zeta Chapter and keep them in your prayers!

 

Howdy, my name is Allison Higdon, and I am the alumnae director for the Zeta chapter of PBX at Texas A&M University. I know many of you are not Zeta alums however, I thought you might be interested in helping our chapter, because ultimately we are all Beta Chi’s no matter where we are from. Our chapter is currently in some financial trouble due to a misfortune that happened several years back. Even though many of us are new to PBX and had nothing to do with our debt, we have gotten together and decided instead of laying down or complaining, we are going to take charge and turn our situation around not only for ourselves, but for the future Beta Chi’s as well. In order to raise a few dollars we are selling a really cute I Love Phi Beta Chi t-shirt. It is available in Pink or Chocolate. The t-shirt only costs $12.25 and the shipping cost is a mere $4.00. 100% of the profit is being put towards our debt, so every purchase helps us! We Won! We Won!

Lana has let me know that we won the National Alumnae Award for Growth in our Chapter! Yea Houston Alumnae women! We definitely need to celebrate so we, the officers, hope we will see all of you at the August Dinner Club at a TBD location. We'll be sending that invitation early next week. Congratulations again to us!
